ViviMate provides the channels, library and TV guide. The IPTV player is the app that shows them on your screen, and it shapes most of your day-to-day experience: how the guide looks, how quickly you can find a channel, and whether features like catch-up are easy to use. This guide compares the players that work with ViviMate so you can choose with confidence. If the difference between the subscription and the player is new to you, the ViviMate IPTV guide explains it first.
All of these players are third-party apps made by independent developers. They aren't ViviMate products, ViviMate isn't affiliated with them, and their features, availability and any prices are set by their developers.

How to choose: five questions
1. Which device will you watch on most?
Start here, because it narrows the list immediately. A player designed for a TV remote is much nicer on the sofa than a phone-style app, and the reverse is true on a phone.
2. Which login format will you use?
Players that accept Xtream Codes usually give the smoothest setup, with the guide and films loaded automatically. The M3U vs Xtream Codes guide explains the difference.
3. How much do you rely on the TV guide?
If you browse by what's on now, a full guide grid matters. TV-focused players are strongest here; VLC has no guide grid at all. The ViviMate EPG guide covers loading and fixing the guide in any player.
4. Do you want catch-up?
Catch-up works on supported channels in players that support it. If it's important to you, check the player's features before you settle on it, and read the ViviMate catch-up guide.
5. Are you happy to pay for the app?
Some players are free, some have paid tiers with extra features, and some Smart TV players charge an activation fee after a trial. Any such fee goes to the app developer and is separate from your ViviMate subscription.

Your ViviMate subscription isn't tied to one app. You can try a different player on the same device by adding the same login details to it. Keep your setup message safe so you can do this whenever you like. If your device isn't covered above, check the ViviMate compatible devices page or ask support.
